This week is the last week for our project. we have got everything done. it was a good opportunity to learn many qualities such as group work, problem-solving and online working. Summary To summarize everything that has been done in this project, the LCR series circuit, LDR series circuit and Chua's chaos circuit have been investigated using the NI Multisim version 14.2. Consequently, comparing the results to several properties such as linearity, small and large signals response, resonance effect, and Lissajous figure. Moreover, we went through the applications of Chua's circuit and how it used in the real world.

This week the work is almost done. all theory and simulation have been done. Goals Build Chua's Circuit. Bifurcation Chua's Circuit the circuit below illustrates Chua's circuit that has been built using Multisim. Lissajous figure that we got from Chua's circuit is how we expected which is the double scroll as is shown below: Bifurcation A bifurcation happens when the parameters of the circuit are modified affects the stability of the system. This relates to the real part of the solution eigenvalues of an equilibrium. The equilibrium at the bifurcation point is not hyperbolic. The changes in the phase sketch of the system can be restricted to randomly small zones of the bifurcating by changing the bifurcation parameter near the bifurcation value. This week we are halfway to finish our project. although the difficulties that we are going through due to the circumstances, we are doing our best to complete the project remotely. This is a very new thing for all of us and we are trying to live with it and continue with our studies. Goals Develop both theory and simulation. Create blog Create first poster draft. Theory Resonance At resonance, the circuit accepts the maximum current from the source as shown in the figure below. this is the reason behind calling the RCL series circuit an "acceptor circuit". while the circuit accepts the maximum current, the impedance will be the minimum as depicts in the second figure. Resonance in the LCR ac series circuit happens when the reactance of the inductor and capacitor are equal and opposite so cancel each other out. and the resonant frequency will equal to: This means that the impedance of the circuit will only equal the resistance At the resonant fr...

This week we have started with calculations and some of the members got struggled with installing Multisim. The theory of the LCR circuit has been done as well as the basic formulas theorem. Additionally, the LCR circuit has been built using Multisim. On the other hand, there was a "sustainable development and ethical aspect of the design" assignment next week so the parts of this report have been divided between us, and a deadline has been set for us before the date of the submission so we can gather all the work in one document. Moreover, the bench inspection assignment sections have been divided. Goals Research for both LCR and LR diode circuits (background and theory) Do simulation and build the circuits in Multisim. Divide the bench inspection sections and sustainable development parts. Background Numerous laboratory experiments, computer simulations and mathematical analysis processes have shown that the Chua circuit is the simplest electronic circuit...

This week our project has started. our group has agreed on this topic to do research and complete the project with it. since this project will be done remotely all the meetings were on teams. Additionally, there are no labs so all circuits will be done using NI Multisim 14.2. Goals Clear the concept of the project. Sharing opinions. Divide the work. install NI Multisim 14.2. Project Concept Investigate a Chaus chaos circuit (L, R, Diode in series) and compare it to a linear (L, C, R series resonant circuit). And understand the derivation for resonant frequency and Q-factor. Moreover, know how to identify chaotic behavior. A simple circuit exhibition chaotic circuit will be designed and built. its performance will be compared to a linear LCR circuit. some circuits can be used to encrypt data for security applications. The figure below illustrates some chaotic behaviors that you can identify in the chaotic circuit. ...

Deterministic chaos has been making a large effect on both science and engineering. Meaning chaos in the unpredictable behavior exhibit. A deterministic model is a mathematical equation containing no element of chance. Chaos can only be a demonstration by a nonlinear system. A nonlinear system is called chaotic when it exhibits sensitive dependence on primary conditions and has an infinite number of several periodic responses. The simplest electronic chaotic circuit is Chua’s circuit. Chua's chaos circuit. The component Nr is a nonlinear negative resistance called a Chua's diode. Usually, it is made of a circuit including an amplifier with positive feedback. negative resistance is a property of some electrical circuits and components in which a raise in voltage through the component's terminals results in a drop in electric current across it. Applications of Chua's Circuit Chua's circuit is a nonlinear simple circuit that displays complex dynamical and chaotic beh...
